It's hard to even begin to explain how grateful I am to Terry at Twisted Wrench. We broke down just outside of Swainsboro, GA at about 4:30pm on a Friday night. It took another hour to get a wrecker (driven by by a very friendly older man and his wife). By sheer luck during our wait for a tow truck we were given Terry's number by Ms. Paulette. He agreed to stay open a little later to see if he could help get us back on the road. We were on our way back home to Michigan from Florida. My car ended up needing a new alternator but there was not any place in town that had one. The closest one was an hour and a half away in Savannah. Instead of just telling us we would have to find a hotel room and wait out the night Terry drove to get the part. He and his employee TJ worked until 11:30pm to complete the repair. I was not charged a ridiculous price for their inconvenience and actually was worried they did not charge me enough. My family and I were blessed with the kindness of a stranger and amazing Southern hospitality.
