I bought a dining room set from Badcock here in Swainsboro 5/26/17 but it wasn't delivered until 6/9/17. I was continously lied too & put off, I got off work on 3 different occasions because I was told the'd be delivering my furniture. Not only did they not show up, they didn't even have the courtesy to call & let me know they weren't coming. When they finally delivered it & I'd paid $89.00 for them to put it together I was told I'd need to remove the transport brackets before I could remove the leaf. There was a small scratch on the side of the table & the delivery person said they'd sent out a guy when they weren't too busy to fix it & then according to the store manager never reported it. I waited a week & never heard from them & I was fed up with the lies, put off's & generally sorry as service so I called & told them to Coe get the furnuture. I was told I'd have to come & fill out paper work first, which I did that same day. The store manager was putting my info in the computer when the delivery person came through & stated to me that she'd offered to take the brackets out for me when she was at my house but I'd told her no. Really, I'm 62 & apparently love getting down on the floor to fix something I' paid for them to do. She stood there arguing with me, lying through her teeth & the manager just keeps putting info in the computer. I couldn't believe what was going on, people this is a business & you don't treat customers like this. Then today the store manager, Tracy Moore calls to tell me that I'll still need to pay the delivery charge; is she really this stupid? They cost me app. 6 hours of work because I was waiting of them because they'd told me they'd be here for god sake & just never showed up or called to let me know they weren't coming. I' just saying if you want to be treated with respect & that your business is appreciated then don't shop at Badcock in Swainsboro. Robbie Bell
